- Provincial Database Will Greatly Improve Bone and Joint Care Jan 10, 2005 The Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute in partnership with the Alberta Orthopaedic Society announced today it will provide funding for the development of software applications to help create more efficient and higher quality health care for Albertans.
- World-Class Bone and Joint Institute Received $10 Million to Improve Patient Care and Reduce Wait Times Mar 26, 2004Premier Ralph Klein and representatives of partnering organizations today launched the Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute. The Institute is an integrated approach to delivery of world-class bone and joint health care, research and education. It will dramatically improve the care for patients with musculoskeletal problems such as arthritis and bone and spine diseases. It has been made possible in part by a $10-million donation from Mr. Bud McCaig, a community leader.
