The Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute is leading the way to innovative change in the way Albertans receive bone and joint health care. The changes are putting patients at the centre of their health care, iimproving access, quality and efficiency in the public health system, and advancing research and knowledge.
The Opportunity to Donate
As a not-for-profit organization and registered charity, the Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute actively seeks donated funds to support its work. You can make a donation to support the Institute's overall work to improve bone and joint health and health care, or you can support one or more of the Institute's projects - while gaining valuable tax and financial benefits.
The Institute's projects include:
- Hip and Knee Replacement Project
Speeding up access to hip and knee replacements and improving the quality and efficiency of care for patients.
- Alberta HIP Improvement Project (HIP)
A research study to determine the effectiveness, safety, cost and cost-utility of hip resurfacing surgery as an alternative to total hip replacement.
- Alberta's Transformational Improvement Project (TIP)
A transformative quality improvement project designed to reduce wait for hip and knee replacement surgery by building capacity through reduced length of stay in hospital.

You can drop off your donation at our office, located at the address listed above. We are beside the Foothills Hospital on the 4th floor of the Teaching, Research and Wellness (TRW) Building at the University of Calgary's Health Sciences Centre.
Matching Gifts to the Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute
