Deborah Marshall, ABJHI’s Health Technology Assessment advisor, is lead author on the IHE policy paper outlining the need for a registry to track and monitor Albertans who have rheumatoid arthritis. “We need to understand how drugs and treatments perform in actual practice,” she says. “There is a lot of variability in treatments, physicians have different ways of practice and there are differences in how clinics operate.
