The Bone and Joint Health Team assembled by ABJHI and the Bone and Joint Health Strategic Clinical Network raised $2,380 in the Walk to Fight Arthritis. The event, held on June 5, saw thousands of people in nearly 30 communities across Canada come together in a show of support for the 4.6 million Canadians who live with the chronic pain, inflammation and mobility restrictions of arthritis. The Bone and Joint Health Team participated in walks in Calgary and Edmonton.
The Walk to Fight Arthritis is The Arthritis Society’s signature fundraiser. This year, it raised $1.1 million, bringing the seven-year total to $9.1 million to support much-needed research, programs and services.
