Deborah Marshall tells leaders of Canadian business, industry and government that public health care needs to move out of the shadows of the Industrial Age of medicine and into the Information Age. The shift is needed – and quickly – as chronic illness, which requires long-term, tailored care and active patient participation, takes on epidemic proportions in Canada.
