Continuous Quality Improvement Program for Hip and Knee Replacement

Alberta has accomplished what most provinces in Canada are still struggling to do – embed continuous quality improvement (CQI) in everyday practices in a major area of health care. The components of the program, ABJHI’s central role in it, the methodology used, and the lessons learned along the route to success are described in the latest edition of the American Journal of Medical Quality.
