Cy Frank Legacy Lecture Friday, Oct. 20 in Vancouver

Dr. Tom Noseworthy, the 2017 Cy Frank Legacy Lectureship distinguished speaker, will deliver the last of his three lectureship talks on Friday, Oct. 20, at the Vancouver General Hospital Eye Care Centre, Room 100LT, 2550 Willow St., Vancouver.

Dr. Noseworthy’s lecture, “Innovation in Healthcare: Lines of Sight to Policy and Practice”, will begin at 2 p.m. Admission is free. Please register here.

The Vancouver lecture is co-sponsored by the University of British Columbia Centre for Health Services and Policy Research and the Centre for Clinical Epidemiology and Evaluation.

The Cy Frank Legacy Lectureship is a travelling lectureship organized by the McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health (MIBJH). It honours and commemorates Dr. Cy Frank whose life was dedicated to allowing research to flourish and medical practice to progress. Dr. Frank was instrumental in founding Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute and MIBJH. His many contributions to bone and joint health care as a leading orthopaedic surgeon, world-renowned researcher, teacher and tireless advocate for change have had a profoundly positive impact on the lives of Canadians.
