Bone and Joint Care Providers

ABJHI does not provide patient services or care, or advice directly to patients. We partner with clinicians, managers, policymakers, patient advisors, and researchers on improving quality bone and joint health care based on best practices.

If you have questions about your health or a medical condition, contact your health care provider, go to a medical clinic, call Alberta Health Services Health Link 24/7 by dialing 811 or visit MyHealth.Alberta.ca. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or have someone take you to the nearest Emergency Department.

For a comprehensive list of bone and joint care providers, visit Alberta's province-wide service directory: Inform Alberta.

Specialist Directory

The College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta maintains a current list of physicians practicing in Alberta.

NOTE: You will need a referral from your family physician to see a specialist.

Clinics

While many clinics collaborate on centralized intake and finding ways to improve quality of care, each clinic manages their services independently.

Other Resources

The Rehabilitation Advice Line (1-833-379-0563) is a tollfree telephone service open Monday to Friday and provides rehabilitation advice and general health information for Albertans. The service can: assess your rehabilitation needs over the phone, give advice on activities and exercises that help with physical concerns, provide strategies to manage the day-to-day activities affected by these concerns, and link you to rehabilitation services.
