For Providers
As a trusted partner, ABJHI collaborates, informs and reports back to clinicians and frontline staff to ensure best practices are always at the forefront of bone and joint health care.
ABJHI is one of the leading organizations in Canada for managing projects designed to increase the quality of care patients receive related to their bone and joint health. The quality improvements projects we engage on are diverse, however, no matter the project the scope is consistent: implementation of evidence-based best practices for musculoskeletal health care.
Collaborating closely with Alberta Health Services Bone and Joint Health Strategic Clinical Network, the support services and tools offered ensure our stakeholders have access to high quality data, clinical pathways, measurement frameworks and strategies for knowledge translation. Through working with our current partners and establishing new partnerships, we are committed to identifying new opportunity areas for health improvements across the entire continuum of care and to advancing prevention and care for a diversity of bone and joint conditions.
Current projects that ABJHI partners on includes: Hip and Knee Osteoarthritis, Fragility Fractures, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Shoulder.
As quality improvement for bone and joint health care focuses on integrated approaches in the treatment and management of the conditions and diseases, ABJHI is undertaking development of an integrated data platform that will enable access to comprehensive, longitudinal bone and joint disease and injury data.
Better Bones, Better Joints, Better Being
As a not-for-profit organization and registered charity, we never let the quest for profit get in the way of our goal. This keeps us focused squarely on what matters the most – patients and health care delivery systems.
