2019 Cy Frank Legacy Lectureship on Improving Osteoarthritis Care in Canada

On Monday, September 16, 2019, Dr. Stefan Lohmander–the 2019 Cy Frank Legacy Lectureship distinguished speaker–will deliver a presentation titled “From early-stage osteoarthritis to joint surgery: the progress and challenges of improving care for more than four million Canadians.” Organized by the McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health (U of C), the lecture will begin at 4:00PM at Theatre 4, Health Sciences Centre, 3330 Hospital Dr NW, Calgary, with a reception to follow. On Tuesday, September 17, 2019, Dr. Lohmander will present in Edmonton at 4:00PM at 2-39 Corbet Hall, University of Alberta, 8205 114 St NW, with a reception to follow. The Cy Frank Legacy Lectureship honours and commemorates the late Dr. Cy Frank, an internationally acclaimed visionary who championed the application of research to create solutions for patients. The lectureship showcases individuals who reflect the passion of Dr. Frank.
