The 2020 Cy Frank Legacy Lectureship will be hosted online this year on September 14, 2020 from 4:00pm – 5:30 pm MDT. The lecture will feature Dr. Gillian Hawker, Professor of Medicine and Chair of the Department of Medicine at the University of Toronto, who will present: “Osteoarthritis: A Not-So-Silent Killer.” The event is open to the public and tickets are free.
The Cy Frank Legacy Lectureship is an annual travelling lecture series that honours and commemorates Dr. Cy Frank. Dr. Frank, a founder of ABJHI, was dedicated to allowing research to flourish and medical practice to progress. His many contributions to bone and joint health care as a leading orthopaedic surgeon, world-renowned researcher, teacher and tireless advocate for change have had a profoundly positive impact on the lives of Canadians.
