We know that many thoughts are currently focused on the here and now and also what the next few months will bring for our province. We’re thankful to be sharing some good news with our Annual Report for 2019. The past year for the Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute has seen tremendous growth and the report showcases a few of the main accomplishments we want to share with you.
In it, we feature a number of projects leveraging data analytics in innovative ways, such as wait time modelling and machine learning that help to guide service planning. Readers can learn more about improved osteoporosis and osteoarthritis management achieved through enhancing patient education and integration of care. We also celebrate momentum with MAP to MOTION that will help our province gain the information needed to advance bone and joint care in hospital settings and out in the community.
